•Well-organized and self-driven to devise and adopt new techniques for teaching and keeping the student(s) on task

•Strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mind to understand each individual student
•Ability to assist students in meeting their academic goals as set forth in the IEP.

• Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc)
• Be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now)
• Be highly collaborative and team-oriented

•Master’s degree in the field of Special Education preferred.
•Certificated Special Education mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities.

•Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time.
•Additionally, physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds. Stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.
