  • · We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team and support our continued growth. As a Clinical Psychologist for Ensemble Therapy you will be expected to:

    · Primary responsibility – Autism Diagnosing

    · Complete evaluations/assessments to diagnose Autism using standardized diagnosing assessments such as the ADOS, CARS, GARS-2, ADI-R, etc.

    · Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapists to complete comprehensive autism assessments on children ages 3 – 18.

    · Secondary Responsibilities – Psychotherapy Evaluation and Treatment

    · Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members and formulate and implement a treatment plan, identifying the patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and assistance needed, in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team.

    · Independently conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diverse backgrounds.

    · Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures. This includes acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses/injuries, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.

    · Implement treatment modalities in working with individuals, families and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals.

    · Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Must practice within the bounds of the license or certification.

    · Provide consultation services to other staff about the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.

  • · At least two (2) years of experience diagnosing Autism in children ages 3 – 18.

    · Preferably in both an in-person and virtual setting.

    · Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a strong plus.

    · Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc.)

    · Be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now)

    · Be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven.

  • · Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychologist issued by the California State Board.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.
